Coronavirus grant funding: local authority payments to small and medium businesses
Local authorities have received and distributed funding to support small and medium businesses in England during coronavirus. Chesterfield Borough Council’s allocation was £27,698,000 of which £23,800,000 has been granted to 2,041 businesses as of 31st May. North East Derbyshire District Council’s allocation was £19,690,000 of which £18,340,000 has been granted to 1,639 businesses as of 31st May.
The Edge Post Covid-19 Revival Fund will launch on Monday 8 June. This is a one-off fund with up to £250,000 of grant funding available. Applications are welcomed for grants of between £10,000 and £50,000, and the closing date for applications is midday on Thursday 9 July 2020.
