Help Needed in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Survey

We know about the community groups that operate and the good work that you all do.  Sadly, we understand that many of you have had to close down due to the Coronavirus crisis.

We are now mapping the help that is available in your residential area.

However, there are still people needing help, mainly for shopping, collecting prescriptions, someone to talk to; and they could be your neighbours.

Are you doing this in your local area or do you know of any people who have got together and are offering neighbourly support to people in need?

We would be grateful if you could complete this survey so that you can be added to the list of help in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire.

for Community & Voluntary Third Sector organisations or groups in Chesterfield area.

A FREE interactive online session about WORKPLACE COVID RISK ASSESSMENTS for Community & Voluntary Third Sector organisations or groups in Chesterfield and immediate surrounding areas.

PLEASE ONLY BOOK ON IF YOU WORK OR VOLUNTEER FOR A COMMUNITY/VOLUNTARY/THIRD SECTOR ORGANISATION PROVIDING A SERVICE TO PEOPLE IN CHESTERFIELD. THANK YOU.

The law says that organisations wishing to return to work should have a specific COVID risk assessment in place for their workplace. This can be a difficult task for employers or groups who have had limited experience in producing risk assessments or who are not fully aware of what they should be doing to meet their specific requirements. During the training we will give attendees the knowledge to risk assess their own workplaces and put together a practical action plan to implement within their community voluntary sector organisation.

The training will include:

An overview of the current guidance for office work and legal requirements for risk assessment.

• Instruction on how to producing a specific COVID risk assessment and action plan for your community voluntary sector organisation.

• How to select appropriate and effective control measures to reduce the risks of contracting COVID in the workplace.

• How you should communicate the risk assessment within your teams and volunteers.

This training will be delivered by Jack Marshall from iSAFE Health, Safety & Quality Services Ltd - an experienced team of Health, Safety & Quality professionals who are accomplished in offering a wide range of innovative services and solutions.

The training will last around an hour with a 30 minute question and answer session following the training.

The session is running twice on the 2nd July 2020 at 10am and repeated at 2pm

(both sessions are the same)
