Help Needed in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Survey

We know about the community groups that operate and the good work that you all do.  Sadly, we understand that many of you have had to close down due to the Coronavirus crisis.

We are now mapping the help that is available in your residential area.

However, there are still people needing help, mainly for shopping, collecting prescriptions, someone to talk to; and they could be your neighbours.

Are you doing this in your local area or do you know of any people who have got together and are offering neighbourly support to people in need?

We would be grateful if you could complete this survey so that you can be added to the list of help in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire.

How to support people returning to work after lockdown and learn from those who have worked from home throughout. A recent survey by Westfield Health found that the UK workforce is divided between those who are keen to get back to a sense of normality and those wanting to safeguard their newfound flexibility.

How can employers cater for these different needs and concerns?

Issues covered include a flexible furlough scheme; managing performance and expectations; employee benefits; flexible leave options; re-induction; mini-appraisals; supporting work-life balance; exploring the lessons from lockdown and any resulting improvements which could be made e.g. fewer meetings.

  • All the good work that you have been doing to make sure that people affected by COVID, especially the most vulnerable, have been supported.
  • What you have learned and experienced
  • What the impact has been on your organisation

The survey should take about 20 minutes, and will ask questions about:

  • Your organisation (what you do, where you work, who you support and your annual income)
  • What you have been doing (if anything) to support people during COVID (including the kinds of support you have provided, the numbers of people you have helped and the number of volunteers who have been involved).
  • The impact of COVID on your organisation, including your income, staff (if any), volunteer numbers, levels of demand, needs and geographical differences.
  • Your experience of COVID – what the challenges have been, what you have learned – and what support you will need going forward.
