Help Needed in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Survey

We know about the community groups that operate and the good work that you all do.  Sadly, we understand that many of you have had to close down due to the Coronavirus crisis.

We are now mapping the help that is available in your residential area.

However, there are still people needing help, mainly for shopping, collecting prescriptions, someone to talk to; and they could be your neighbours.

Are you doing this in your local area or do you know of any people who have got together and are offering neighbourly support to people in need?

We would be grateful if you could complete this survey so that you can be added to the list of help in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire.

We have the opportunity for you to make a real difference. To help your community, challenge yourself, and to discover what you are capable of.

Self-care isn't selfish, it's essential. No-one's perfect. But so often we compare our insides to other people's outsides. This month Action for Happiness are encouraging everyone to be kinder to themselves (as well as others), especially when things go wrong. Self-care increases our resilience and helps us get more out of life. It also helps us accept others as they are too.

You can download the calendar HERE

The Action for Happiness app aims to give users a couple of friendly "nudges" each day - firstly that day's action in the morning and secondly an inspiring message towards the end of the day. You can download it HERE
