Help Needed in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Survey

We know about the community groups that operate and the good work that you all do.  Sadly, we understand that many of you have had to close down due to the Coronavirus crisis.

We are now mapping the help that is available in your residential area.

However, there are still people needing help, mainly for shopping, collecting prescriptions, someone to talk to; and they could be your neighbours.

Are you doing this in your local area or do you know of any people who have got together and are offering neighbourly support to people in need?

We would be grateful if you could complete this survey so that you can be added to the list of help in Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire.

Self Care for the Real World  - try some online yoga

Thursday 15th October 2020 from 4-5pm

£5.00 for SCC Members, £10.00 for non members

To follow up from Mental Health Day on the 10th and to support Work - Life Balance Week, SCC have joined up with TriYoga to offer a session on self care in the real world.

This online ypga session will help identify some of the techniques of managing the stress of running a small charity.

The London-based sisters and wellness gurus have been in the business of caring for others for decades. They each approach the issue of nourishing body and mind from different disciplines; Nadia is an expert yoga instructor and Katia focuses on food and massage. Together they published their first book, Self-Care for the Real World.

They will be guiding you through this workshop with simple tips and tricks, from mindfulness to yoga, to help your mental health and wellbeing.
